Olivier Godard, Economy, Ecology and the Nature of Things
As soon as economy and ecology are granted a nature, it creates between them a deep similarity, with specularity effects, in their relation to the rule of law, but it also generates a radical competition between their respective requirements. However referring to the nature of things leads up to a double bind one offers to override through a pragmatic strategy illustrated here with the example of the climate risk.
