Tom Regan, Of legal rights for animals, might the day come?
This paper considers the main arguments intending to deny moral rights to non human animals, in particular the right to live and the right to corporal integrity. Because these arguments are faulty, we should not deny animals legal rights on the basis of their alleged moral inferiority to human beings.
