Marie-Caroline Vincent-Legoux, Public Order and Contract. A Study of internal comparative Law
If in public as well as in private law, public order limits freedom of contract and establishes breaches of the stability of contractual relations, its binding force appears today tempered by legal security and requirements of the public service. But in fact it deals with the confrontation of several elements of public order due to the growing part allocated in social order to values linked to the institutionalization of social peace.
