Paper's abstract

René Sève, Transhumanism. A useful utopia
The author presents the various contributions to this collective work by showing that advances in bio-economy and artificial intelligence must lead regulators to refine their conception of personality and freedom. He thus successively considers questions of regulation of the biological personality and of the digital personality. In conclusion, he envisages an economic scenario which, if it makes trans- or post-humanist objectives very distant, considers them useful for stimulating research and investment.
