Thomas Bouvet Emmanuel Baud, Patentability of Genes at the international and national level?
Patentability of living matter raises important questions because it confronts patent law with some of its limitations, such as the non-patentability of discoveries, the prohibition of the appropriation of the human body and the protection of the integrity of the human genome. This article identifies these and other related issues, pending a more comprehensive substantive article on the subject.
