Nathanaël Jarrassé, Artificial Limbs and Organs: the Myth of the Creation of Supermen
The relationship to our body and to health in general has been experiencing a profound evolution for decades, characterized by a transformation of medical practices, but above all, by the development of new utopias. Facing the invasive mythologies and ideological debates, the aim of this article is to try to define the reality of present day "superman" and to analyze some of the ideological mechanisms that participate in the making of this myth.
