Pierre-Grégoire Marly, Transformations of insurance through robotisation
Objects connected to intelligent things, artifacts that assist or supplant human action invite the insurer to reinvent his craft. In fact, these technologies offer him the ability to process massive data in order to refine his services and individualize them, scratching on the way the traditional rules of insurance, including risk pooling. The identification of these risks is also shaken by robotics and its declensions. As the individual abdicates his power of control to the benefit of autonomous machines, the risk seized by insurance is transformed and displaced, just as is evolving in counter-point the law of civil liability.
