Isabelle Falque-Perrotin, Human Being Algorithmed, Surpassing or Loosing Oneself?
Twenty five years after the birth of the internet, its original promise, to enhance our power to act in numerous fields, has been fulfilled. However the optimism of the debates is counterbalanced by the growing conscience that we are also the subjects of a digital universe liable to bring a reductionist view of mankind. Education, legal solutions as well as renewed ethic and strategic thinking are necessary to bring the power of the digital world at the service of mankind.
