Paper's abstract

Miroslav Radman, Can one Reasonably Hope for Immortality?
Based on the observation that biological evolution, which favors rapid births and disappearances, and cultural evolution, which requires a long adult life, have conflicting interests, the author shows how to fight against aging. However, remembering that survival, even extended, does not imply the value of life, the question concerns the finality and risks of the process.

Key Words : aging immortality
