Marie-Anne Frison-Roche, The Two globalizations
There are two globalizations. The first one is represented by the intensification of mobility across borders. The second one follows from the constitution of virtual spaces, without territory or material hook. The first globalization may be answered by the speeding-up of a law that remains governed by the distinction between mobility and immobility. The second globalization may be answered by a new law contained in language itself.
