Bernard Bourgeois, The End of History: Today?
The Hegelian idea of the end of history, moved by Kojčve and Fukuyama to the end of the assertion of universal structures henceforth known of the socio-political existence, seems nowadays to be borne out. Determined for its principle, if not its empirical reality, history, essentially political, then opens to another historicity, which requires the States to handle still more drastic issues (bio-ethical, environmental...) concerning the survival of humanity as such and of its world.
