The 6 billions humans the earth is carrying today, no more than the 11 billions it will bear tomorrow, should be short of neither food nor water. But now, a bad sharing out due to poverty on the one hand, the rivalry not to say the conflicts for accessing resources and mastering territories on the other hand, explain s why billions of humans are deprived of water or food. An overhaul of international co-operation based on true "development contracts" is the only thing that could remedy this iniquity threatening the future.
