Paper's abstract

Paolo Ferreira da Cunha, Scale, sword and blindfold. An essay of juridical symbology
Unlike one could have thought, the symbols of law are not univocal, nor easy to interpret. They are not universal, here we find the scale, there the sword, elsewhere justice is blindfolded, even elsewhere she bears the double faced Janus head. But is the peculiarity of a symbol to give something to see or something to think about? In any case, the law philosopher takes delight in its variety.
